My sister gave a thumbs đ to the Pad Thai. The calamari is too much breaded. Passion fruit drink was excellent and worth coming back for. The spring roll was not worth mentioning. While it took time to be seated, the food arrival was surprisingly quick.
Small place. About 6-8 four seat tables.
Service is what it is from a Viet restaurant
I arrived at 12am on a Saturday. Ordered brisket soup.
They provided a lot of meat which was great, the soup was very hot. The only problem was, they diluted the soup with water, too much water. I get it, end of the day, trying the stretch-out servings until they close but the lack of flavor from all the water added, was pretty bad. I can tell the flavor would have been good if we went during normal hours but to rate my visit, just a 2 out of 5 stars.
The eggrolls were good.
I would not go here close to the end of closing time.
The best thing was the shaken beef, with garlic noodles. Very tender and flavorful beef.
Calamari and Beef Pho were good. Pork sandwich good as well.
Egg rolls weren't great. Iâd definitely skip in the future.
Service was quick. Everyone pleasant.
The food is always top notch. Fresh and tasty. The service is normally very efficient and always courteous. Atmosphere is clean and modern.
Mr. PHO is the perfect spot for late-night snacks and a great place to hang out. It's an ideal stop for food after any event at The Honda Center. The food here is decent, and the service is friendly and fast. Deduct one star for the food portion and price ratio. The large bowl is just the standard size. I won't go out of my way to visit, but I would definitely stop by for late-night snacks.
Quick tips: They now close at 1 am as of September 2023. The last order is around 12 am, and there's a special menu with limited items available after midnight. Also, don't forget to check out the famous Joe's Italian ice cream shop next door!
"Undoubtedly one of the best, if not the absolute best, pho experiences we've ever had. Our shrimp and beef pho exceeded all expectations.
The service was exceptional, too, with prompt attention to our needs - from swiftly providing water to presenting the menu.
They also have a charming bar area offering delightful cocktails.
In sum, a flawless trifecta of fantastic food, impeccable service, and a welcoming atmosphere, earning them a perfect 10/10 in every aspect
Decided to try this place based on the pictures and was not disappointed. No wait time, the server was great and helpful. The atmosphere was different than other Pho places I had been to. The music was great, had me hoping they did karaoke. I ordered meatball pho, and we shared spring rolls. My wife ordered chicken pho. We also had LA style mango cart, which is pretty good.
This place is really nice and clean, but the foods are not that great. We had phá», bbq chicken with rice, and vietnamese sub. The chicken is so dry and oily, no marinated taste. I order special pork sub, and it comes out with chicken and the chicken is same as the one on rice dish. Also, the sub (almost $10) is more pricey compares to soup bowl and plate of rice.
